Dr Mavuso Msimang has resigned from the ANC. Dr Mavuso was currently the deputy president of the African National Congress Veterans’ League (ANCVL), has resigned from the party after more being a member for than 60 years. To some extent, Dr Mavuso alluded to the fact that corruption within government and ANC is endemic and continues to place ordinary people disadvantaged situation.
